Heather M. Brandfellner

After graduating from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. Brandfellner attended medical school at the University of North Texas Science Center in Fort Worth, TX. Upon graduating from medical school, she received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Investigation from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX. Dr. Brandfellner completed her general surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, followed by training in surgical critical care. Dr. Brandfellner was Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery in 2016.

Dr. Brandfellner has completed extensive research, presented on numerous occasions, as well as hosted teaching stents to earn her certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) & Basic Life Support (BLS) for the American Heart Association, Pediatric Life Support (PALS), as well as Advanced Trauma Life Supports (ATLS) from the American College of Surgeons.
